About the Department

The Administration Department is responsible for organizing high-level Events and handling multiple digital systems and services. These include the E-Awas quarter allotment portal, vendor payment system, guest house and vehicle & Hotel booking management systems, and real-time event dashboards at WCL HQ. Organizing high-level meetings and VIP movements seamlessly, management of event inventories proactively and Air Travels of officials. The Department collectively works on operational reliability, decision-makings, and highly service standards to insure smooth functioning of Company’s Operations.

Anand Temurnikar

General Manager (Admin)

Shri. Anand Temurnikar, General Manager (Administration), holds a B.E. in Mining and an MBA, and joined Coal India Limited on 6th August 1988. Over his distinguished career, he has served in multiple subsidiaries of CIL—including WCL, CMPDIL, the Coal Controller’s Organization, SECL, and CIL—while also contributing as Regional Sales Officer in Mumbai. He assumed charge as Head of Department on 3rd April 2025. His tenure continues to be marked by notable contributions and administrative leadership.
